 The Person

Chelsea Lighting is seeking a proven winner to lead its account growth strategy with NYC’s largest construction management firms.  We seek a technical sales expert who can articulate the value of Chelsea’s world class lighting project delivery and identify and solve issues for the customer as a trusted advisor during the sales cycle.  The dedicated professional generates massive new business through diligent and thorough follow-up at every stage of the sales cycle.  The results oriented sales lead builds relationships by adding value for the customer combined with entertaining clients in Manhattan.

 The Role

Chelsea Account executives are responsible for building and maintaining a multi-million-dollar book of business with general contractors by managing all key stakeholders in the lighting decision value chain.  Must be able to influence lighting designers, lighting reps, electrical contractors, construction managers, owners’ rep and property owners.  Successful account executives identify new projects, prepare and submit profitable quotes, show Chelsea’s value, negotiate and close huge deals and ensure customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.
